Home from the farm

To my chagrin, I forgot my camera at home. But bitterlawngnome had his. He has posted 13 images. I appear in three of them, but you will only see my face in one.

A camera always narrows my view in search of photo ops. This was a weekend when I benefitted from having my eyes wide open and simply spent more time looking at things.

I arrived home tired and content shortly after noon today. A fuller report will follow.

The weekend at the farm was good, but the best parts were two short nights spent with Danny in Toronto, on the way to and from Amber Fox.

Hi Van, wow, I'm still thrumming after our lovely connection this past weekend at the Farm. Our magickal conversation in the sunlit grove Monday morning was a highlight of the visit for me.

It's great to hear you had such a beautiful visit with Danny, too. Rest up and do write more when you feel more caught up from your time away from home.

My trip to Amber Fox was the first I have taken outside the Toronto area without my kids in more than seven years. My life is fairly simple compared to most of the people I know, but you're correct, it isn't boring. Every life conceals treasures. I know you will find yours, too. There is an art to taking pleasure in small things.
