1. What was your biggest accomplishment this year?

I completed the first draft of a novel for the first time in my life.

2. What was your biggest disappointment?

I thoroughly enjoyed Pride celebrations in Toronto, spending part of the weekend with my friend "Duncan," but apparently he was jealous of my date on Sunday evening. Subsequently, he disappeared from my life. I didn't like the role of jester-beneficiary I played in his life, so I haven't pursued him, but looking back this is the biggest loss I can think of.

3. What do you hope the new year brings?

Some source of income, either from a part-time job or freelancing.

4. Will you be making any New Year's resolutions? If yes, what will they be?

I don't make New Year's resolutions, but I do have some goals for the next few months:

• Write the first draft of a second novel.


• Revise Tendril Through Cyberspace


• Save enough money to travel to the GALA Festival in Montreal in July.

5. What are your plans for New Year's Eve?

Kissing Danny. I will spend the evening at djjo and bitterlawngnome's house with danthered and other friends.
