Rosy Gomphidius?

I'm trying to learn mushrooms. If this one is Gomphidius subroseus, it is edible. It appeared a few paces from the cottage door, under beeches, yellow birches and hemlocks. Danny djjo and I saw the same species (see his photo) two days later and 300 km south at Turkey Point.
