We had another long, nerve-wracking drive this afternoon along snow-covered Highway 401: three-and-a-half hours from Harrow to Guelph and another 90 minutes from there to Toronto. The girls and I are now safely ensconced at Bill and Danny's, with the wonderful smell of turkey shepherd's pie cooking. The visit with my parents was pleasant overall. I'll post more tomorrow. Glad to be safely arrived, and to hear that [livejournal.com profile] willowing had left Bangkok a few hours before the earthquake. Much to be thankful for.

On the highway today Marian and I saw this bumper sticker on a van and broke into laughter at once:

WHO WOULD
JESUS BOMB?
