My short story will be webcast today on 1001 Nights Cast. The timing will be much better because the webmaster is reading at sunset in London, which falls at 16:06 ESDT. All you have to do is go to the website for that time. It's advisable to check whether your software is properly installed prior to the webcast. You can do so by clicking the "Having trouble?" link at the bottom of the window. Barbara has been tweaking things, so hopefully it will work for those of you who had trouble before.

I'll post the text here tomorrow. It's my ninth contribution to the project.

The only thing stopping me from yanking all the wires out of my computer is the necessity of internet access. I picked Brenna up at 4 sharp, we hurried home and arrived in time to see the webcast. Then this stupid Presario choked on QuickTime. I rebooted, and it choked again. So I missed hearing my story read.

Anyway, here is the text, written this morning.

Today the Sunfire passed its emissions test. And I picked up my drawings from the framer. Chris Ahrens, a local artist who manages Wyndham Art Supply, gave me some advice on packing and pricing. My main task for tomorrow (and it will take several hours) is to carefully pack and ship them to Denver. I also hope to meet Mina for a walk, the first time in over a month.
