Pulling into Guelph last night, I noticed moisture condensing on the car windows. I tried to rub it off, but it was outside. The air wasn't foggy, just hot and saturated, and the humidity had condensed on the air-conditioned car. At this moment it's 34°C/93°F outside, about 44°C/111°F with humidity. Ontario isn't supposed to get heat like this.

Ontario's hottest day was 42.2°C (108°F), recorded on July 20, 1919 in Biscotasing, northwest of Sudbury. On July 14, 1993, Windsor (my hometown) reached a humidex of more than 50°C (122°F), setting a Canadian record. Feel any cooler now?

No? Here's a Centaurea from Pinery Provincial Park.
