Without fear

Spent some time with Baby Steve this weekend. Yesterday we saw Journey to the Centre of the Earth in 3D, decided against attending the Leather Ball, and spent the evening at The Ex (Canadian National Exhibition) instead. The horror house was tragic; hardly any of the mummies or vampires worked, so we screamed in terror at having wasted $5 on nothing. The roller coaster with spinning cars was pretty good.

It has taken 19 years, but perhaps I have vanquished vertigo. It did not assert itself in either the movie (frankly, the cliff and falling scenes were too improbable to be scary), or on the amusement park rides. All in all, lots of fun.
