Jumping

I am getting bogged down, as usual, with trying to provide an adequate chapter outline for Pilgrim's Cross. I thought I already had one somewhere in need of just a little tweaking and updating, but the one in blind_king (my fiction journal) was written hastily on October 31, 2004, the night before NaNoWriMo, the month when the story took on a life of its own. I need to buckle down and thoroughly reread the manuscript (which I've never done), but not now. This week's challenge is to start a new writing practice on Thursday. If I have to go ahead without a chapter outline, well writing is always like jumping off a cliff anyway.
