Focus

Another dream snippet this morning: cleaning out the bottom drawer of the fridge, I find a pair of lost boxer briefs, black with deep maroon detailing.

This was the view from my window at 7:31 this morning. I finished reading Becoming Animal while eating lunch in the shop yesterday, so I have the weekend to write a review. Should be no problem: I've been writing numerous 400 word web articles in an hour or so, however this I take more seriously.

I have been keeping busy. I find myself dashing around the apartment to make dinner and put myself in place for the next task at hand. I can handle this increased focus and productivity as long as it is balanced with down time. The days practically revolve around the walk after work. I haven't enjoyed winter this much in years. Last night I siezed About This Life off the book pile, took a running leap and plunged into bed at 10:55, but it didn't take me long to fall asleep.
