Living room

Danny and I just finished spring cleaning my living room. It had been in pretty good shape as recently as Christmas, however I spend many hours working and playing in the armchair, so the area around it looked like Shelob's lair. Books, papers and tangles of yarn spread across the floor and threatened to absorb the entire room. But this was not an archaeological dig like the deeper messes. A relatively small investment of time and labour made a huge difference. Now I can sit down at the loom without moving piles of junk.

So the whole apartment has been seiously tidied except for the office end of the front room, the bedroom closet and some bedroom surfaces. It looks like a different place. The office mess is dire, so I probably won't have time to clear it up before the end of the month, but otherwise Change 2 for 2011 has gone well.

I have decided not to organize my book library yet, because I probably will be moving again within a few months. I'll explain when plans become more certain.
