Here are a couple of recent dreams I remembered, the first one a few nights ago:
- I found a short story I had written for Mr. Nespolon (high school English teacher). It was covered with notes he had made, and some of my responses. For one thing, we had discussed the name of one of my characters. This actually happened, although the details were different. In the dream I flipped the first page and found on the back another name written in fat cursive script unlike either of ours: "Gondolon." I've noticed I can often read words in my dreams; apparently this is abnormal. Nespolon believed my writing had potential; at the end of school he even urged my parents to allow me lots of time to write, but they didn't understand and neither did I. This brief dream manifests a subconscious desire to devote time to fiction writing.
- You know how a new Firefox tab opens with links to your nine most frequently visited sites? Well I opened a new tab and there were many of them, about five columns and ten rows. I just had a flashback as I was opening a new tab this morning; it must have been a dream. It probably means I'm spending too much time on my computer.
