LJ messages in Gmail

I recently acquired a Gmail account and have been experimenting with it for about 24 hours. Since this morning I have tried directing my LJ notifications to that address, but I'm having an annoying little problem: in the Inbox, Gmail identifies every LJ comment as coming from the person whose comment was first to arrive, who happened to be perkk. I can easily identify the actual commenter by looking at the subject line, but the problem causes some confusion. I wonder whether any other Gmail user has encountered this issue and maybe figured out how to correct it.
