Good company II
Apr. 10th, 2006 06:47 pmI've met Larry and Ethan twice before, but this was our first quality time together. Larry has a genuine passion for wilderness, a quality I greatly admire. Ethan is much more urban, but plain good company. We had brunch at the Village Rainbow then wandered down Yonge Street looking at comic books and Magic: The Gathering cards.
I had to go to Honest Ed's to pick up a couple things: nine pairs of white socks and a Proctor-Silex slow cooker, as inspired by
isitandlookout. While in the neighbourhood, I showed Ethan The Beguiling, an eccentric little comic book store off the beaten path. I resisted the temptation to buy more Tintin books. Then I had to catch a bus home, regretfully.
Tonight I'm going to an organizational meeting at Two Rivers for the community garden.
