I am convinced that you must live in heaven because most of the shots you take recently are just amazing. I have not seens places and skies like that in Ontario...ever!!

I have a nose for things like that. For example Lake Huron sunsets are famous, so I couldn't bear to visit Goderich without making an evening trek to the beach. And the results with this camera are far more satisfying than with the old one.

The particular sky in this post surprised me. I was sitting in the campsite getting high (an infrequent state for me), looked up, saw this, and thought wow. Nobody else even noticed, so I figured it was just a quirk of my vision. I ran alone into an empty field with my camera and shot a few pictures, expecting them to look like nothing when I became sober. But apparently my camera got a little high with me, because the photo looks just how I remember it.

Later the whole crowd of us was impressed by the sight of the moon passing behind a little penis-shaped cloud, but my zoom is not powerful enough to do decent moon shots, so I left my camera in its case, consigning the vision to memory.
