My family has a beloved old propane range, which has probably occupied the cottage since it was built about 40 years ago. Unfortunately it has finally bitten the bullet; the oven door has broken off at the hinges. The stove and broiler still serve their purpose, and we can bake and grill on the gas barbecue, but my family is fond of its oven-baked casseroles and desserts. My parents have been shopping for a new range, but most gas appliances ignite by electricity. The cottage doesn't have electricity.
Today on the phone, my mother did the unthinkable: asked if I would look something up on the internet for them. Within minutes I found an Ontario company, Sun Volts Unlimited, that makes propane ranges with gas pilot ignition.
The internet makes simplicity more attainable.
