Basia Bulat is the one I'm crazy for this year. She is a hard worker and traveler. Honest, often heart-breaking lyrics reflect the challenges of her itinerant lifestyle, her rhythms are on the move, and the instrumentation is enchanting as a traveling circus. My favourite song, Run, is the second in this studio session.
