We picked up four new used chairs from Aberfoyle Antique Market yesterday morning. They're a lot more comfortable than my set of four bentwood chairs. Now we'll be able to sit the whole family around the dining room table when my daughters visit next weekend.

But here's the breakfast nook. Today we adopted the Ravenea rivularis palm. This is where Danny and I eat most of our meals together. Even my abused old table looks happier than ever.

In the window above my bottle collection djjo has taped some dyed yarn samples to test for colour fastness. It's homework for his Ontario Handweavers and Spinners certificate course.
