More hypnagogic reading
Mar. 27th, 2012 10:15 amLast night while reading in bed I had an experience similar to one recorded here early last year. I was reading Barbara Kingsolver's novel, The Lacuna. Different threads of dream narrative began superimposing over the actual text. This time, however, I was aware of becoming drowsy, so it was clearly a hypnagogic state. I wanted to keep reading, so the experience was unnecessarily stressful. I can't remember any details, except one of the episodes seemed to be about three identical women. Which is odd, considering the vision recorded last year was about one woman representing three completely different characters.
