My September entries at 100words.com can now be viewed. I tried to say too much about too many things and it ended up incoherent. There is a theme, however, so if you're inclined to read and tell me what it is, in one word, the first correct answer will win a snail mail card with a nice photo from Guelph.

I'm inclined to think "touchstones", but that seems too facile an answer.

I'm inclined to think "memory", but there are a few that I can't make work.

Thanks, Van, for sharing this link. Your writing, for me, regardless of how it is for you, is luminous, evocative, and doesn't pull any punches when it comes to the gritty stuff.

I look forward to reading more of these when time permits. This afternoon, I have all the poise and lucidity of a punctured balloon.

You're right! The reference to memory, remembrance and reminiscence is secondary in a few, but I squeezed it into all the entries.

If you want to send me your mailing address by way of the email addy on my profile page, I'll mail a card next week. Congratulations, and thanks for reading. :)

Wow, that was a good guess. Not facile at all. It's an interesting idea for the future. [livejournal.com profile] rsc got the right answer.

Thank you. I liked the previous three months better. July is my favourite, and makes reference to the first time I visited Bill and Danny. Hope you feel better soon, Shimmer. Hugs.

my best guess is family, but it's late and my brain is foggy.
