December words
Jan. 5th, 2004 06:57 pmMy December block has been posted at 100words.com. For some reason, the entry for Dec. 3 got posted in Dec. 1, too. I was away from home and must have made a mistake when I got back and tried to submit several entries at the same time. So I have posted the intended entry here.
As usual, the first person who identifies the theme will receive a special piece of snail mail. I can think of two or three close guesses that I will accept, however I'll wait until Thursday morning, if necessary, to see if anyone gets the specific word I was thinking of.
twillhead, I'm afraid you're disqualified because of your time advantage, but if you email me your mailing address, I'll send you something anyway.
Warning: the December 1 entry is erotic, and a couple other days are even more sexually graphic.
Here, first of all, is the intended first entry behind a cut, and then a link to the entire month's block.
If you want to read the rest in the correct order, do not read Dec. 1 in the block but skip to Dec. 2.

This morning I turned to him. Drawing his quiet tenderness close I was quickly aroused. We barely stirred, only enough to enfold one another. The pressure of craving lay between us. Even knowing I wouldn't see him for another four days, I chose not to press toward release, savouring desire instead.
Someone asked me what kind of man attracts me. I have an eye for one who is bold and blustering, thick-legged and strong, his sexuality raw and uncomplicated. But that is lust.
The other craving, which goes much deeper, is for kindness and gentleness. In this I am satisfied.
If you want to read the rest in the correct order, do not read Dec. 1 in the block but skip to Dec. 2.
