More icicles

Before I get to the photos I shot today, here are a couple strange ones left on my camera from Wednesday evening, taken immediately outside my front door. For those of you familiar with Ontario, this is Highway 7, which I have to cross to get to the river.

Those icicles are awesome. Out of the window of Claude's loo, there is an amazing overhang of ice-fangs. If I'd had a better camera, I would have snapped these. When we went on a walk around the neighborhood on Monday, I saw lots more.

OMG....wonderfully whimsical, especially the first photo. My attention, for some reason, is drawn to the building in the background of the first photo. What stories might it have to tell...?

It is just a variety store run by an East Indian family, handy to have across the street.
