Our last Rainbow Chorus performance this Sunday is cancelled. Tonight's rehearsal is just a rehash of the weekend's concerts.

Afterwards I go to The Penny Whistle with Natalie & Mike, Les, Christie & Meghan. Beer and onion rings. Man, how much I'm going to miss my drinking buddies this summer! ubermunkey would understand.

I say so. And we all agree. I discover I'm not the only one for whom Wednesday night at 10 p.m. is a highlight of the week.

Tomorrow I'll set up an email list to everyone, including other regulars who weren't there tonight. We'll meet alternate weeks. Just for good company. No need to wait until September.

I needed to finish a second drawing before tomorrow's art class (my own commitment), so I did this today. It's a little crazy.
