Guelph images

The Guelph Flickr group has become a lively community, and I'm proud to have been an early contributor. Now several members have organized a photo contest to "convey what downtown Guelph is all about". An independent jury will select 21 photos to be included in a group show at the Red Brick Café throughout May. Here are the two images I chose to enter: sunset over the Speed River, and the entrance of Van Gogh's Ear, a downtown bar.

The Hardly Boys

This queer play will show this week in Guelph at the -bar, and in Toronto at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre. Christine Lafazanos is my buddy Jaye's partner, a recent graduate of theatre studies at U of G.
