Guelph fire
Apr. 7th, 2007 09:33 pmA fire early Friday morning severely damaged two historic buildings on Douglas Street in downtown Guelph, adjacent to St. George's Square. No one was injured, but 15 tenants were evacuated, many in bare feet and pajamas. The Gummer Building housed offices of several artists and photographers I know, along with other businesses.
The Guelph Mercury's online story is here: Historic buildings burn.
Sue Richards' Blog Guelph documents the event with personal commentary, links and photos from various sources.
