Road trip

Thursday I depart on my first long trip (more than a weekend) to the United States since my honeymoon in 1990. This is a LiveJournal trip; mainly I will spend time with several friends. I also look forward to driving through Appalachia. Here is my itinerary.

Pittsburgh, the night of August 2 chez ghostsandrobots.

Atlanta, nights of August 3 through 7 chez dakoopst.

Knoxville, nights of August 8 and 9 chez ink_ling.

Pittsburgh, August 10 and 11 to visit ghostsandrobots and writer00. Then home on August 12.

If anyone else lives in or near those cities, or will happen to visit, and wants to meet, let me know.

Last week I had the jitters, but my nerves are settling down as departure approaches, because really there isn't much to do. It has required far less planning than the camping trip I did with my daughters two years ago.

Atlanta is a little hotter than Guelph these days, but not much.
