A few words

Spent an awesome evening with a good friend.

This morning I lay in bed until 7:09, and succeeded in not worrying about it. What are your mornings like? How do you get out of bed?

My daily submissions to 100 words this month explore my relationship with money (an uncomfortable topic), with a good deal about organ building thrown in, since that's what I do for a living. Not all the site contributors write topically, but I like the practice of choosing a theme to address every day. Different moods come out, different textures. I might consider a certain idea I want to write tomorrow morning, but when the time comes, something else will seem more important. Sometimes I'm angry at someone. Sometimes I'm in love with the light in the shop where I work. Sometimes I'm pathetic, but 100 words of drivel is not too much to endure before the next image hits, and maybe it will be lovely. It's a fertile process.

If I complete all the daily entries, they will be published as a unit after the end of the month.

It would be good to write a novel 100 words at a time.
