I find myself in the midst of an intense concurrence of writing projects and creative energy. I continue to pick up freelance work whenever I can from The Content Authority, and a little extra income has begun to trickle. Meanwhile, recent personal insights have persuaded me to resume working on a novel. Yesterday I downloaded the beta version of Scrivener for Windows. I believe this software may provide a useful tool to began breaking down the first draft into manageable pieces so I don't have to see it as one huge, insurmountable chunk. It will be useful for journalism, too. Additionally, in the background, the current nature writing project keeps moving forward. Finally, I have an assignment to review Becoming Animal: An Earthly Cosmology by David Abrams for The Bookshelf's advertizing newspaper, Off the Shelf. They pay in store credits, and it will be another good experience.

I have not often undertaken more than one time-consuming, challenging writing assignment at once. I'm surprised to find myself comfortable with the pressure, in fact putting it upon myself. Boredom is nowhere on the horizon. I just need to figure out how to schedule my activities so I complete everything according to schedule.

At the same time, the new sleep routine shows signs of producing a significant energy shift.

Many thanks to you who made thoughtful comments on the previous post. I take it as further confirmation I am in the right space at this time.
