Ideal

This morning I got to work on time so I could leave at 4. I nibbled almonds and black grapes through the day so I didn't get too hungry or fatigued. After work I came home, exercised vigorously for half an hour and had a shower. Then I went went to my desk and opened the window so I could hear the sound of insects as thunderclouds pulled over the forest. For an hour I worked on a short story that came into my head last Thursday (I haven't had that happen since forever). Rain began to patter outside. Whe the writing ran out, I came downstairs and made a variation of lentil sausage soup with a leek, fresh tomatoes and some added bacon. The house smells wonderful. Danny should be home in a few minutes. It's 7:35 and the rest of the evening is gravy. This is my ideal day.
