I usually hesitate to indulge in memes, plus I must say sorry frequently because I'm Canadian. "Sorry" is like "eh." We are too freakin' polite.

I'm trying to see Guelph the way you do. I've been here since September and still don't feel *at all* at home. Trying to find a 'tribe', to connect with people of similar values - it's been very difficult.

I'm starting to be a lot more proactive about reaching out, but as of this moment, I've been pretty freakin' lonely here. ::lol::

My goodness, is this a coincidence? I had no idea you lived here when I commented on your freewrite; and I see we have some common friends.

Trust me, Guelph was very lonely for me for a few years, but I held on. Starting out in a new home is never easy. How long have you been here?
