vaneramosThis evening Brenna and I intended to go to Eggcetra for dinner, forgetting most restaurants are closed on Monday nights. Instead we went to East Side Mario's, a first for me. The food was satisfactory (Brenna was pleased) but the service was outstanding.
Coming outside after dinner we found the sky over Guelph filled with a glowing giant.

We stopped at home to pick up my camera. Then we drove to a park by the Speed River and bought ice cream cones. We watched a raccoon surveying the river from the opening of a storm drain. His dark mask turned curiously back and forth in the settling dusk.
