This evening Brenna and I intended to go to Eggcetra for dinner, forgetting most restaurants are closed on Monday nights. Instead we went to East Side Mario's, a first for me. The food was satisfactory (Brenna was pleased) but the service was outstanding.

Coming outside after dinner we found the sky over Guelph filled with a glowing giant.

We stopped at home to pick up my camera. Then we drove to a park by the Speed River and bought ice cream cones. We watched a raccoon surveying the river from the opening of a storm drain. His dark mask turned curiously back and forth in the settling dusk.

Hey, I've been admiring your photos in weather_pics. I checked out your journal, and was amazed by what I saw there. I have added you to my friends list, and thought I'd be courteous and say, "hello."

Feel free to not add me back, either because of the reasons listed in your bio, or simply because I lead a decidedly mundane life, and my journal tends to reflect that. I'm not the sort that gets insulted by that sort of thing.
