Day of the dead
Oct. 31st, 2004 01:09 pmI've never observed the "Day of the dead" before, but it seems like a good suggestion. I don't believe in ghosts, but our lives continue to be influenced by people who have touched our lives. Here are a my honoured dead. One is a famous figure, but I met him once, and corresponded briefly with him.

The last four were friends killed in automobile accidents between 1983 and 1985, all between 18 and 22 years of age. Kathleen and Wouter were close friends in university, Steve and John were from my graduating high school class.
