Hehe, that's something I would love to do, although I doubt I would ever have the confidence to do so much speaking off the cuff. It's pretty rare for me to be relaxed enough for me to get my thoughts out as I was during these two phone posts.
I tend to agree, it's a wonderful voice. A relaxing kind of voice if I say so myself.
Glad you made it to your parents OK. The midwest down here in the states has been hit very hard by the snow and now ice. Yikes. Glad I live in the NW where it's cloudy and a bit foggy, but otherwise dry and in the low 40's F.
It's unusual that we got none of the ice at my parents, while Toronto did. Windsor/Detroit area is usually closer to the freezing mark, but this year they had a beautiful white Christmas.
