First image from Titan
Jan. 14th, 2005 03:36 pmThe European Space Agency's Huygens probe has touched down safely on Saturn's moon, Titan. This is the farthest from earth one of our spacecraft has ever landed. Here is one of the first unprocessed images. It appears to show eroded rocks scattered across a surface of fine sediment:
