I honestly didn't think the world would end if I missed posting one day, but it very nearly did....

Thanks Muffie. I'm glad I was in Toronto, otherwise it would have been an awfully lonely time.

I am still recovering from the trauma of the vicious umbilical eljay cut.

*wails*

*hugs*

It was disconcerting, wasn't it? It would have been a lot more unpleasant for me if I had been at home alone. Makes me think.

Well, LiveJournal certainly missed you. It was down for nearly two days.

Or... was that your point?

Yes, that was my point. Just kidding of course.

(Or should I say husband in your case?)

The family is doing fine. :-)

That new icon is powerful.

Another one of my NaNo writer friends and his partner had a bad car accident a few days ago. Their injuries were not as serious as yours, but it struck me as strange.

My grandmother had a car accident the other night. She was not injured but the car was totaled. There's no rhyme or reason to it, I don't think.

Van, Suitntieman here, I'm on the madcow cluster and it's still down, hence I'm still severed my own blog. :-(

So, you missed a day of blogging, and what happens? LJ goes down. Sheesh.... What'll happen next? ;-)

The weather yesterday was odd here in Seattle. Cold and we had sleet mixed in with the rain and it just rained pretty good last night. But the good news is that I got the living room cleared of Christmas stuff, vacuumed good, some of the bedroom stuff gone through and vacuumed good and the whole place dusted good so not all bad me thinks. Being severed from LJ will do that to ya! :-)

I see some accounts are still down. Hope you're still keeping occupied.

It's been an entertaining weekend, what with LJ being down for all of Saturday and the panix.com domain name being hijacked (the latter is still not resolved; I can log in and do all the stuff I need to do on panix, but I'm not receiving email).

This is probably not really your fault, but we'll pretend it is if you'd like.

I was kidding, but it's interesting to consider the butterfly effect. ;-)
