Dommy's tea service, Prismacolor
In response to Michael Nobbs:
I am a writer, journalist, poet, wordsmith, novelist, father, naturalist, ecologist, photographer and artist. Gay, polyamorous, pocket bear. Atheist, mystic, former Christian fundamentalist. Son, lover, loved. Singer, pianist, cook. Subject to depression and social anxiety. Canadian, Ontarian, Guelphite. Alumnus of University of Guelph and Conestoga College. Wildlife biologist, journalist, occasional web designer, knitting newbie. Gardener bereft of a garden.
Coffee-drinker, Classical music buff, armchair traveller, cottager, hiker, canoeist. Fond of card games, word games and board games but not team sports.
Introvert. Niether leader nor a follower, fond of people but often awkward in their company, reserved in group settings, inclined to over-analysis, aware of my abilities but dubious of their potential. An observer and outsider who often feels invisible. Easily distracted, absent-minded, sensitive. Fair, tolerant, gentle, quickly but not easily angered. A fast walker learning to slow down. An abstract thinker learning to experience the moment. Fascinated with human nature and consciousness.
I am 5'9", 194 pounds, size 10 shoe, well-endowed, blue-eyed, blond turning to brown, bearded, buzz-headed, possessing better than average eyesight.
Almost 41. Pisces on an Aries cusp, Pisces rising, moon in Gemini. A dragon. The youngest of three sons. Lover of water, earth, air and light.

Notes on the drawing: This fine bone china tea set was a gift from my great grandfather to my great grandmother on Valentine's Day, 1915. I knew both of them. Poppy died in 1971 and Dommy died in 1996, age 103. I received this set from her as a wedding gift in 1990. The set also includes a sugar bowl and five more cups and saucers. One cup was broken in a move, neatly, in two pieces, which I saved. I drew it yesterday for the Everyday Matters weekly drawing challenge.
