The next few days

I'm taking the girls to Toronto to Canada Blooms this afternoon. Then we'll stop at Bill and Danny's for dinner and overnight. I don't know whether I'll have time for a regular post today or tomorrow. Monday afternoon we'll head to my parents' place for a couple days. Then I'll be out of internet contact untill we get home Wednesday evening.

My energy has been on the low side and my mood edgy. I have switched back to the lower dosage of mirtazapine and can feel my body and chemistry adjusting. It's an uncomfortable, uncertain feeling. But last night I had the best sleep in a couple of weeks. If that continues, I'll switch back to the previous state, which was better.

I was disappointed with the show this year. I don't know whether I'm getting blasé about so many forced magnolias and flowering bulbs, or whether Canada Blooms has actually become less spectacular than the first time I went seven or eight years ago. A bit of both, I think. Unfortunately the lighting is always insufficient for my camera, with the crowds of people and bright ceiling lights in the distance making photography even more difficult. I didn't see much that I wanted to photograph, though.

The beach photos from my parents' place were much more interesting, so I'll post some more over the next several days.
