Holidays begin

vaneramosNo time for a proper post tonight. I just arrived home a few minutes ago with the girls. The only good thing about driving for hours through the dark at this time of year is seeing all the Christmas lights scattered across the countryside. Great conversations in the car, then we listened to a famous Christmas episode from Stuart McLean's The Vinyl Cafe, the one in which Dave attempts to make Christmas cake. McLean's forlorn, heart-warming humour was just the thing to put me in mood for the season. Now we're going to watch a movie on the new TV.
