Date: 2006-01-15 09:05 pm (UTC)We used to have to use a software product called Aventail Connect, which was a Web-based tool for securely connecting to systems through firewalls. Interesting to know the origin of the term.
Of course, when I first heard of the product all I could think of was "here comes Peter Aventail" to the tune of "Peter Cottontail". ;-)
