No. They're both reflections of trees and sky in the water. Those marks that look like arrows (or bats, as a friend emailed me!) are leaves in the bottom of the river. The top image is upside down.

The bottom photo is different from the usual angle at which I photograph reflections, so it probably served to throw people off.
I couldn't resist flipping the one over, because it made the sky look
very
ominous.
