The Rainbow Chorus will perform at Parkminster United Church in Waterloo tomorrow morning. I have to get up at 7:15, so I took mirtazapine a little earlier than usual, but it made me sleepy much more quickly than usual, so I won't be able to write the usual 200 words this evening.

For now, I'll just post this mystery photo. Several people on my friends list might recognize what it is, specifically. I'll post the solution tomorrow. Now I have to sleep.

I have no idea but it kind of reminds me of the back of a frog. Or the face of an exotic plant leaf.

An amphibian skin is what I thought, too. Check my latest post for the correct answer.

Interesting! With those veins it looks very succulent, doesn't it? The leaf is actually leather thin. The answer is in my latest post.

I guess a leaf of fetid adders-tongue. Do you have those back East? Could also be an orchid, like a paphiopedilum or a phalaenopsis.

It looks like a part of a beetle, or a very funky shower curtain. This is fun!

It's actually a closeup of the small leaf of a forest flower. Full answer is in today's post.

Do they even still MAKE that disgusting stuff? Oh, the childhood memories of its vile odour...and, if I can smell it, it's STRONG...

It's a close-up of the leaf of an Adder's toung Lilly. (I think they are also known as Trout Lilly).

What do I win?

I'll have to think about that. What would you like me to give you? ;-)
