No, not the wound in my arm. I went back to the after hours clinic last night to have the packing and dressing changed, and it seems to be coming along fine. I only go every other day now, and they tried to hurry me through again, but it still took an hour. My, I'm getting tired of sitting in waiting rooms.
Day before yesterday I got an itch between my toes and thought it was athlete's foot. This morning I woke up with my driving foot red, swollen and sore. I went to the walk-in clinic. They were short-staffed, so this time I had to wait more than two hours.
We have no idea what caused the infection. The doctor gave me a prescription for amoxicillin. I'm supposed to stay off the foot and keep it elevated for now. It's a lot more painful than my arm ever was, so I also picked up extra strength Ibuprofen.
I've knitted probably half a metre of scarf in the past 10 days, just waiting in clinics.
Flickr is having issues today, so I won't try to post more photos until the problem is cleared up.
