Colours of trees
Oct. 19th, 2006 11:06 amThese photos would originally have accompanied my poem The colours of trees had I not been so frustrated over the computer problem (sorry, my poems are friends-only for now).
The really exciting news on the computer front is that
brunorepublic has rebuilt his old PC for me, and I will pick it up Sunday afternoon. It is about two years younger and has a much faster processor (2 GHz) and larger hard drive (80 G) than the current one, so once I get it set up I'll be back in photography business. That in itself will please Bruce, I believe, but if you have a chance to treat him on my behalf, please do so. I am profoundly moved by his generosity.
For now here is some remembered loveliness from a Lake Fletcher morning. Those extraordinary maple saplings guard the mouth of our little bay beside Joyce's cottage.

Really glad that your computer troubles are near an end.
