Uncertainty
Nov. 28th, 2006 11:47 amI had anticipated working tomorrow, but Les just emailed to say we won't start until at least Friday. I am psyched up and want to start now. Mom phoned to ask about Christmas plans; I haven't the least idea. She always wants to secure the future. It took me years on my own to learn the importance of living in the present. "These are our few live seasons." I still have trouble doing it. I want to know what's going on tomorrow, but the eventuality that absorbs me is employment, not holidays. For now I need to make my own goings-on.
I'm reminded of
djjo. Happy birthday, Danny. Thank you for bedrock.
