Arrived home safely a couple hours ago. The trip provided many beautiful moments and experiences, but quality time with these friends was far and above the best part.

I miss you all already.

Another star of the show was the 2002 Sunfire. This is the second long road trip I've taken it on (the first was Canada's east coast in 2005) and it never missed a beat. It put on 3,476 km (2,160 miles). This was the first time I've kept track of mileage. It averaged 26.2 mpg (11.1 km/l) with the air conditioner running the entire time, and I spent $189.50 on gas. That's a pretty fair ticket to visit Pittsburgh, Atlanta and Knoxville and spend one morning on my own exploring the Great Smoky Mountains.
