Enigmatic?

Brenna called this my "Mona Lisa" picture. The kid is just too clever.
Leonardo's lovely model didn't have such a frown. On the other hand she didn't have to deal with early evening sunlight. But this is the only self-portrait I took during our week at the cottage, so I'll post it.
If you want to see a more benign expression (not to mention better hair), check out

Re: red-headed stranger
Date: 2003-07-22 01:20 pm (UTC)My hair has turned gradually from blond to brown over the past 15 years, but apparently the pattern of my body hair (a shield on my chest) indicates I am genetically a redhead.
As for Brenna, she already has a taste for the Impressionists, particularly van Gogh. When we walked through the door last night, she immediately noticed the new painting on a stand in the corner.
"Did you paint that?" she said.
"No, Sylvie did," I replied.
"It's good," the girls agreed.

What your girls don't know, is that Van Gogh actually painted you ; )
