Ten things
Oct. 11th, 2008 08:27 pm"Post 10 things that are going right in your life right now. I don't care how small."
I ganked this from
vaysha because I need it just now. Besides, it's Thanksgiving weekend. Focusing on the good is always worthwhile.
- I had liver and mushrooms with green beans and potatoes for dinner (and discovered tapioca flour makes decent gravy).
- It feels good to be walking every day, no matter how much trouble I have with the rest of my routine.
- After the mock interview on Thursday, I'm a little less afraid of real ones.
- I met my writing partner at the Red Brick Café this afternoon. I wrote a poem about a difficult subject, for me. I was afraid it was self-absorbed, but Sarah D, on reading, said it was universal.
- It's great to have new friends. Sarah D and Michele have been looking out for me this week, and invited me to Shabbat at their apartment last night. My wheat-free apple crisp made everyone happy.
- It's great to have old friends. I'm looking forward to turkey dinner with Sylvie and Sarah S tomorrow.
- I'm becoming better friends with Dad than ever before.
- Michele and I agreed this week, we're lucky to have partners who calm us down. I'm always happy around Danny.
- My new doctor is super.
- A tub of black walnuts is fermenting in the hall, getting ready to dye yarn next week.
- Bonus thing: Guelph is a beautiful place to live, and the weather has been gorgeous lately.
