vaneramosDad has a drug-resistant super-bug, specifically methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus. I just spoke on the phone with one of his doctors in Leamington, and she said they have started him on the antibiotic vancomycin, which is sensitive to the infection. They will transfer him to London as soon as a private bed is free. Visitors have to wear gowns and gloves.
