Progress

I have been staying with Dad since he got out of hospital on Thursday, and after weeks of uncertainty, he seems to be getting better every day. With such fine weather we have been able to get out every day. He has to carry an IV back in a fanny pack around the clock for the next few weeks, but once he got used to it, it seemed a minor encumbrance. The upside is that a nurse has to come every morning to change the bag, so his vitals will be closely monitored. I return to Guelph tomorrow.

This afternoon we came into the Harrow Public Library to introduce him to the internet and set him up an email account. Several cousins and second cousins have been checking his progress on my blog, so of course he has been curious to read it.

Life doesn't truly ever afford certainty, so a sense of steadiness and advancement is always welcome. May your dad continue to do well for a long, long time.
