The day didn't turn out as planned. I spent the afternoon cleaning the apartment in search of my vehicle emissions test, ultimately not finding it. I had planned to spend the evening with my writing partner doing our favourite thing, but she has to leave town for a funeral.
Receiving so many greetings redeemed the day somewhat, but the highlight was a newsy message from Brenna, vacationing with her boyfriend's family in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands. This afternoon they went snorkeling. A wild sea turtle communed with Brenna and Tory and let her touch it. She's only 15, living one of my dreams, and it makes me smile.

Date: 2009-03-20 12:17 am (UTC)I'm hoping to get to see a sea turtle when we're in hilton head next month -- we'll be there the week before and right on the night they start prohibiting lights on the beach so that the turtles can come up and nest. I'm excited!
I hope you're able to have a peaceful evening, even with all of the changes.
